Wet pillows, swollen eyes, breathing difficulties... Those nights you wish you could sleep and didn't have to wake up ever again, those nights you lie in bed for hours wondering how your life would've turned out to be if you made a different decision, those nights you stay up just to think about someone who probably forgotten about you... I guess most of us have experienced that before.

We all bound to face those days where we just wanna ditch our phone, disconnect from the world and indulge in some alone time, or maybe just go missing for a few hours and check back in to see if anyone actually notices your disappearance. Sounds stupid, but you get my drift.

I think it feeling unhappy and having a pessimistic outlook on certain things in life, is inevitable. No matter how positive someone is, we all have our bad days and we will all, at some point feel like the whole world's crashing down just because of one person...

They always say to live your life for you, not for anyone else, but then again, if you don't live for something, you'll just end up dying for nothing. Hahaha, so that being said -

Find the right person that's worth the pain. Someone who brings out the best in you, not someone you've to be the best for.

-

Don't regret anything, cos every mistake is a lesson learnt and don't ever let one bad day, make you feel like you've a bad life.
Just some random thoughts I had. Anyway, here are some outfit pictures taken recently :)

SHOPSKINNED
Thursday, December 5, 2013 | 3:23 PM | 0 comments

Haven't done a review for a pretty long time now, and I thought I'd share what I've gotten recently from Shopskinned

Anyway, I'm really particular about the things I get online. Not that I've been okay about receiving low-quality stuff, I'm just extremely anal about it recently.

Which explains the lack of fashion-related reviews, for being rather selective of what I want to share with y'all. Don't wanna end up becoming one of those who lie about my reviews just cos I'm paid to do so.

So here are two outerwear that I picked. The first, as you can see, is this black leather jacket.

One advantage and why it's essential to have at least one in your wardrobe? It's something that will never go out of trend.

Whether you're going on a casual date, formal event, day or night, it's still gonna be that one jacket you probably can't go wrong with. Best part? You don't necessarily have to pair it up with shorts, pants or anything edgy, dresses can go well with it too.

A lot of people have this misconception that leather jackets can only fit girls with an edgy style, but I beg to differ! Cos personally, I think anyone could pull it off. It's really how you wear it to fit your personal style that makes a difference.

And because this jacket is made of soft leather, you can customize them with studs and spikes too! They are easily attainable at places like *SCAPE. I remember seeing them at one of the shops near the main entrance.

So here's how I paired my jacket!

A see-through, polkadot cropped top with boyfriend jeans, and white courts.

Leather jackets can cost up to 300 to a few grand in some stores, of course with the branding, genuine leather etc.

But I really wouldn't mind getting this at only $39.90, for a really good quality!

As for the second piece, it's this varsity jacket with embroidery on it.

I know varsity jackets have always been around, but there's always a period of time where it's the super "in thing" and suddenly it's just like another piece of clothing on the rack.

But what I like about this, is that it's not like the usual ones, where they are typically like...

In fact, they are not as thick and I guess it's more suitable for our generally terrible weather here in Singapore.

I paired mine up with a tank and high-waist denim bottom, both from Topshop and a pair of Flora-printed vans.

That being said,

School's finally coming to an end!!! *Jumps for joy* Okay, not exactly an end. Just term-break. Which means I'll be flying off to Sydney real soon... In fact, in about a week's time.

I haven't been on good vacation for the past couple of years. Something unfortunate will always happen right before I leave, and most of the time they bother me so much that my heart and mind would be left here even though my soul's there.

Especially the last trip I made to Hong Kong when I lost almost 8 lbs in a week because of some issues I had with my ex bf.

And for once, I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that it'll all be fine as I'm really looking forward to this getaway.

Personally, nothing beats going to Australia. It's not that they have everything, it's just that that was the first place I've travelled to with my family at the age of 3 and it's also one of the countries I've been to most frequently. Nostalgia oh nostalgia - Which is why I really wish I could live there when I'm older.

So anyway, I've been wanting to get my hair dyed red again after the crazy amount of positive responses I've gotten a year ago, before I fly off.

Time for a change after 3 months of boring hair.

Just in case if you were wondering what happened to my left eye, I got hit by the barrier at the parking gantry. Worst moment of my life, hurt so bad that I burst into tears. Lmao, funny thing was... I screamed and everyone around thought my guy friend hit me. Oops.

Good thing is, it has pretty much recovered!

Picked the same shade of red again.

However, I wanted something different and Jamie (My stylist) suggested that I had my ends bleached for a sombre effect, and I agreed!

And after 3 hours of bleaching, dyeing and treatment... Here's the end result!

Here are some pictures I've taken over the past few days. Noticed that the red colour stayed on pretty well so far with the Redken products Jamie gave me, especially the  colour extend total recharge product above which helps treat my hair and retain its colour at the same time.

Yet another day.
Wednesday, August 21, 2013 | 9:52 PM | 0 comments

Feeling really exhausted now after a lying on the floor for the past 4 hours working on my art pieces which are due tomorrow.

I'm so drained. So many things to do, yet so little time. Still struggling, and trying to adapt to everything.

At least I'm glad to say that I'm still getting the adrenaline rush every once in awhile, or should I say that spur energy that keeps me going? Whatever.

I just hope this conscientious attitude would continue, and my hard work wouldn't go in vain.

Anyway, just a short update before I hit the sack soon.

Just some pictures Cleon took after we were done studying.

If you were having a bad day, I hope the next picture brightens your day (or night maybe) a little haha.

The truth is revealed, this is how I usually sit... lol.

Anyway if you were wondering why there aren't any pictures of him, it's because he's camera-shy. NOT.

And anyway, I'm back on a low-carb diet again since I've been so busy... I barely have any time to work out.

Yeap, which means I gave my mashed potato to Cleon :(

Here are some tips just in case any of you out there need it!

Things you should avoid eating:

1) Sugar: Soft drinks, fruit juices, agave, candy, ice cream and many others.

2) Gluten Grains: Wheat, spelt, barley and rye. Includes breads and pastas.

3)Trans Fats: “Hydrogenated” or “partially hydrogenated” oils.

4) Highly Processed Foods: If it looks like it was made in a factory, don’t eat it.

5) Artificial Sweeteners: Aspartame, Saccharin, Sucralose, Cyclamates and Acesulfame Potassium. Use Stevia instead.

Reduce the amount of dairy products as well - Milk, Chocolates, Cheese etc.

Some of the things you should/can eat:

Beef, lamb, pork, chicken breast, salmon, trout, eggs...

PLENTY OF fruits and vegetables.

You can have a bit of yogurt (Not frolick etc, of course.) / plenty of water before each meal so that lesser space is left to be filled up with food :p
